- Buy rechargeable batteries
- Put unused napkins back in their container
- Bring your own coffee cup
- Keep your car tires inflated properly (this saves on gas)
- Support local farmers click here
- Use both sides of paper when printing
- Turn your thermostat down 1 degree this summer
- Recycle your old cell phones
- Wash your clothes in cold water
My husband and I planted a garden a few months ago. It’s been quite the experience since neither of us had any idea what we’re doing. We’ve learned quite a bit about what not to do, so when we plant again for the fall, maybe I’ll share a few tips.
