There is such a fine line between wanting to be supportive in someone's life journey and trying to be the captain of their ship. I too read this book about 25 years ago when I was allowing myself to be manipulated and I continue to learn lessons when I encounter a situation of wanting to help, especially when it comes to my own children, even when they are adults. But as I experience these situations, releasing to Higher Spirit gives me the guidance to know when to be supportive and when to back off and allow. I continue to be amazed at how much better everything works out when I step out and just allow it to unfold as it should. Thanks for sharing your inner most feelings... Everything works out in the end...If it hasn't worked out, it isn't the end!!!
